We’re Expanding Our Instruction!

Gratz Opus 118 is pleased to announce that we are adding drums/percussion and some other instruments to our instruction! This new instruction comes by way of our newest instructor, Nicholas DeHenes! Here’s a little more about Nicholas:

Nicholas DeHenes is a 3rd year music education major at Valparaiso University. He grew up in Chesterton, IN, and studied music with Vince Arizzi and Michael Scheiber while attending junior and senior high school. Upon graduation from high school, Nicholas attended VanderCook College of Music for 2 years. He is now a student at VU. Nicholas has been playing and studying the percussive arts for 6 years, as well as other instruments such as piano, guitar and clarinet. Upon graduation from VU, Nicholas intends to become a middle school band director, eventually planning to become a music theory professor.

Nicholas’s musical gifts are evident, and we welcome him to the Gratz Opus 118 family! Call us now to schedule lessons with this exceptional musician and teacher! (219) 462-4573
